Axes Systems' core product axpand has been recognized in the category 'line of business software’ as an INNOVATIVE PRODUCT 2008. axpand convinced the jury with its usability, innovative design and usefulness to small- and medium-sized businesses. In total, over 1,600 products applied for the prize. axpand was selected immediately as one of the top 16.

The Initiative for Small- and Medium-sized business builds a bridge every year between innovation and small business by recognizing products and solutions that are the most innovative and bring the most value to small businesses. axpand fulfills the needs of small business through relevant know how and information transfer in the ITK area and aids small and medium-sized businesses in increasing their competitive edge. "Innovation is the foundation for sustainable success for companies. They are the engine for growth, prosperity and increasing standards of living in our society. Small- and medium-sized businesses are our guarantee for future jobs", says the patron of the Innovation Prize 2008 and German’s innovation minister Professor Dr. Andreas Pinkwart during his address and prize awards at this year’s CeBIT.
