multi-representation

Create Different Maps with the Same Data Base

axpand uses a true multi-representation data base. This allows for the creation of different map scales using one, seamless data base. In axpand several data models, map scales and style sheets are all stored in the same data base. Not only is it easy to switch between map scales and style sheets, changes made in one map scale are automatically a part of all other map scales. This makes keeping data up-to-date easy and less time-consuming.

Multi-representation Database

Imagine producing several different types of maps using different style sheets - different symbology, different scales - from the same database. How does this work?
